Global horse riding travel agency Globetrotting has built a reputation amongst keen horse riders. With over 40 riding holidays in their portfolio, they road-test each and every one, enabling them to perfectly match clients with their dream holidays. Over 50% of Globetrotting’s customers are solo travellers who will book another ride with Globetrotting within 12 months.

Their payments challenges
Globetrotting’s diverse range of ride destinations requires payments in the same currency as the ride provider’s country of origin.
Before using Pin Payments, Globetrotting’s clients had to physically visit their bank and issue a telegraphic transfer into Globetrotting’s foreign exchange accounts. For example, if Globetrotting invoiced their ride in GBP, their customer had to transfer funds from their Australian bank account via an intermediary bank account back into Globetrotting’s GBP account.

The solution
Globetrotting uses Xero to invoice clients for their rides from their WooCommerce website. The team set up their Pin Payments account to integrate to their website to accept foreign currencies from their clients.
