Charging your customers in Australian dollars
AUD is the default currency when charging cards in your dashboard. Similarly, charges created through the Pin Payments API will be charged in AUD by default, if the currency parameter is not supplied.
When you create a charge with the Pin Payments API, you must specify the amount in the currency’s base unit. The base unit of AUD is the cent and the minimum charge amount is 100.
If you wish to process charges in other currencies, simply choose from the supported currencies in the Pin Payments dashboard, or send the relevant supported currency parameter when using the API.
